The days are short, the nights are long
The sun sings it's swan song
A chill runs through your bones
The northern winds blown
Flesh reddened in defeat
Tired eyes from crow's feet
The height of snow begins to rise
Amen Ra has now died
When the winter rolls around
Frozen dunes form on the ground
A whiteness comes to hide the sky
And warns the sun to say goodbye
Bering froze across the sea
Pacific waves were seized
Atlantic followed by decree
Permafrost broke boundaries
Fauna mutate white and grey
The winter slays the summer day
Frostbite kills the sun god's rays
Everything that was decays
When the winter rolls around
