I'm watching your lips yield to every single move, but
the
words fail to follow. This life, so filled with beauty
inanimate, makes the idea
hard to swallow. In dark shadows, through times of
desperate brilliance, a tear
falls from the sky; and I look through. I look to you
beyond bright city lights.
I've burnt my bridges; there is no turning back; with
each breath I pray, in each
glance I fear. I will stick to this path; there will be
no looking back, ending an
era, too soon to be here. Your tragedy describes so
vividly, a masterpiece unto
the world, and just one familiar hollow voice that longs
to be heard. When a good
thing goes wrong, I find it hard to mistake the life of a
hero and the bonds
