I've seen this all before like a dream
so many lives shattered into flames so many faces broken,
dying hoping for something more than this empty void
that we feel each and every day it's hard to face it
when you know it's your own mistake
someday we'll see the truth in it all
but until then we wander on
it's always the smallest things that hurt the most,
I let you down a memory trying to not be forgotten,
I'll just let it drown in bottles and sleepless nights
I find myself spiraling into what I've always hated most
about this world, about this place, about myself
and I can't forget those times we had
so free so pure so simple
and I'm always searching for what is true
