Do not rebuke me, O Lord, in Your wrath
Or chasten me in Your anger
O Lord, have mercy on me, for I am faint
Lord hear my aching bones, I am in anguish
How long, O Lord, how long?
Will You deliver me?
Save me because of Your unfailing love
No one remembers You when he is dead
Who praises You from the grave?
I am worn out from my groaning all night long
I flood my bed with weeping
My couch with tears
How long, O Lord, how long?
My eyes grow weak with sorrow
They fail because of all my enemies
Away from me, you who do evil
For the Lord has heard my weeping cry
Yes, He heard me, He heard my cry for mercy
And the Lord, the Lord accepts my prayer
All my enemies will be ashamed
And dismayed, they will turn back in disgrace
