I thought the climb had ended and I was over the hill
And I seemed to have lost all of my motivational skills
I had to work much harder for some of that easy fun
Yes, just the other day I was a stick in the mud
But I got tired of feeling like shit
So I turned on my happy switch
And I haven't looked back ever since
But sometimes this smile sure hurts my lips
Now the good times come and the bad did go
Every day's like Christmas, every day's like ho! ho! ho!
I know that life can get boring and I know that life
can be mundane
But then again, life is only what you make of it anyway
