All these years we've managed about nothin'
Still you cheer and say
You're proud of what your forefathers have achieved
And I don't get it
Just one hundred years ago
We were still participating
In genocide in countries far away
The ground you stand on
We've managed nothing, what the f..ck is there to be so proud of?
This country has a history, that tells nothing but abuse and slavery
Smash the statues that remind us of everything they've done
That makes me feel ashamed to say I'm Dutch
