Direction:north Lyrics

If you could see me here this way
Looking backwards from today
From today

A liars chair, a judgement throne
A billion mistakes become known
Become known

The day you died I lost my mind
The day you died I lost my strength
The day you died I lost everything

Moving along in a God given way
I remember you like yesterday
Like yesterday

Where am I going? Where have I been?
A road to hell - the concluding scene
Concluding scene

The day you died I lost my mind
The day you died I lost my strength
The day you died I lost everything

CHORUS:
A new beginning from today?
If we could wash the pain away...
If we could disarm with a smile...
If we could ask was it worth while...
A new beginning from today?
If we could wash the pain away...
If we could turn the adverse tide...
If we could touch eternal light...

INFO:
The loss of a close family member is always hard.
Direction:North is a workup of such a situation, where
a close family member of one of the band members died
during the production. The sad lyrics in this track are
counter parted by steam-hammer beats, sequences. The
string arrangements are used very subdued here and are
not as dominant as in other tracks.
