The morning chews your heels as if you were standing
still

Bisect the grapefruit and sprinkle on the sugar
Use the good silver and wash it back with coffee
Yes, something is missing but you can't put your finger
on it
But you know you ain't lonely
You can thumb your nose at the universe but that won't
