I wish I could find some clever anecdote to say to
align itself with the world todaybut its hard its hard
to grasp reason and compassion
when did we all decide to give in to the latest fashion
maybe its because all of our thoughts are wrapped up in
such tiny boxes
and its so hard to see the other side, the other side.
I dont care if youre a sinner, I dont care if youre a
saint
I dont care if youre a new age philosopher just trying
to reconcile his faith
just remember that faith hates violence and remember
that love hates hate
and remember your childhood stories and remember what
made them great.
cuz theres truth to be found and to be told
lets embrace all of our differences before we all grow

righteousness
but its not hard to see that were caring less and less.
maybe its time we stop thinking like were all the same
maybe its time we stopped fighting wars in Gods holy
name
you may think that Im right, you may think I am wrong
