beckoning praise from the earth
a false witness who pours out lies

wondrous signs, holy sights, prophesy

haughty eyes, feed you lies, in disguise
scheming in a futile fight
wolves as sheep - snakes as priests
leading flocks with their wayward staffs
turn your back - they'll smile and laugh
as they plot to overthrow the throne
