Seraphs Coal Hypocerase
Hypocrisy is a part of meI refuse to see my instability
I know I'm wrong
I know I'm free
But it's so contradictory
There's a pebble in every shoe
A stumbling block unseen to Man
It's one of Satan's little games
To defile and make unclean
Just like to graves unseen
Walked over unbenownst
We build the tombs of the prophets
And burn the synagogues
Hypocerase it's time to erase.
No righteousness of us
All righteousness in Him
He cleanses us completely
From guilt and shame and sin.
So many inconsistencies
I'll try to hide them from you
And from myself
I'm just a hypocrite.
