The North coast was locked in a driving storm
seems like years since I've been warm
looking out the window at the driving snow

Well I stayed for a while in a South Texas town
with a Mexican mama, her skin was so brown
her eyes were as deep and as atrue as the sea
and she was trying to get a hold on me
