I went back today, to the places I used to go, faces I used to know. I
never thought id miss this old town when we were stupid kids, living our
lives in bliss.
Smokin cheap cigars, house parties and breakin hearts. Strummin that old
guitar. I hear my father say, son don’t wish you time away. I’ll never
forget that day…
Do you remember staying out at the lake, we’d drink to much, stay up to
late, had so much to learn, weekend warriors. It was our turn to find out
who we were.

I saw your photograph, I tried to look but I cant look back, leavin you in
the past and I don’t regret living our lives half to death, you’re the one

There aint no going back we’ve said our goodbyes we went separate ways to
live our own separate lives but I just cant denie that from time to time
what it would be like to live it one more time.

over coming our fears we made so many mistakes, so many bridges burned but
