I can't explain
How it pleases me
To open a book
And begin to Read
Sure I'm a nerd
But can't change who I am
I love to read
Why should you give a damn
About what I do
And How I spend my time
Its my choice
And it's a big part of my life
When I was young I thought
school SUCKED
But then Something changed
I started to read
More - and - began to use my brain
(what little there is left of it)
Upon graduation
My infatuation
With learning
Only grew
