Jake was a Christian from a Christian school
His life began to change as he entered public school
He thought it would be fun, but instead it was cruel
He didn't think the stuff going on was very cool
It seemed okay as the first month went by
But time went on, he watched as people died
He felt his Christian dignity start to subside
As they constantly tried to make him want to hide

And all he could do was just attempt to abide
But the pressure just got stronger
And the pain just lasted longer
The hurt was unbearable
And his life was just terrible

All the drugs and the violence, Jake had no clue
Of what in the world he could do
The ways of his school were so much different from his
He didn't want to stand out, his life was being quizzed
There'd never been a time like this in his life
But now he had to give up everything and fight
No matter what, he wasn't going to give into their ways
