Everything I write just comes out wrong
And it puts me in a bad way
When I think that you won't like this song

It all just makes perfect sense
But when I try to write it comes out wrong

I wonder who and what we would recognize
The same street corners, the same street signs
And though we can't go back in time
It will always be the same in my mind

You need a different point of view
