I've been counting down the calendar's months andTrying
to breathe in all four seasons at once and then exhale

Tidal waves and cold and warm fronts while I paint your
shores with snow
I've been taking comfort in songs I've heard and
Trying to reach you with the warmth of my words, they're
spilling out
On pages and the ink becomes blurred but there's one
thing we know
Time will stop and stand still when the Sun drops like an
anvil falling down
Red comets rain from the sky like fireworks on the fourth
of July
