Rogue Valley Singing Grasshopper Gathering Ant
the bright moon of harvest is nigh
the air is crisp; an apple's first bite
the wooly bear is showing its stripes
the grasshopper sings while the ant gathers

for some kind of sign

with the light of the day

the fields are bursting with fruits
migrant workers come to dig up the roots
