Rise & Fall Dead Weight
There's doors that I won't open. There's cracks in the blue of your eyes. I can't get by on hoping this guilt won't weigh me down, because it weighs me down. There's words I shouldn't have spoken, there's days I'd love to erase. But there's no good in second guessing. Some mistakes were meant to be made. Yet they weigh me down and I'm falling. While I'm trying so hard to remember what I'm running from. There's a man silently sorry, struggling to face another day. He spent his life on his knees. That man can not be me.
