Reedy Tonight
This is the night; I can feel it from the warmth of the light,
That is above me, waiting for me to get up and take a hold of the flight,
I’m in a spaceship, waiting for the rocket boosters to ignite,
I’ve been pressing the button for years; nothing did happen until I felt

This feeling inside, the one that was stolen, years ago, but now it’s
Returned,
I can feel this energy burn, ready for action, ready for love,
But not the kind I was thinking of, the kind of love that eats you up,
This is this kind that’s invincible, explainable, and the principle is,
This is the realest feeling I’ve ever felt, no woman involved this is about

Colourful dreams now could come true, got some work to do, but I feel brand
New,
I got whole new sky view of life, I was down on the ground but now I’ve

No need for a co-pilot, no assistance, no time for you dick heads,
I’ve been doing this alone for years, with bare subsistence, just this

This is the strongest I’ve ever been, mountain gear on because I’m
Conquering dreams,
No matter how wild they are, I’m a jaguar, and I’m going far,
Set off through space to the brightest star, become one with the flaming
Sun,
Feeling higher than I’ve ever done, and I swear to the moon, I’ve only just

Once there was this aching, didn’t know which way I was meant to be facing,
Left and right had some unrighteous brightness, and taking those routes is

And I fell, ended up directly in hell, lost any echoes of sound,
But from facing down, I turned around, looked up; saw my future seeping
