Rapture That Day
Waiting for a doc’s appointment
Sitting in my living room with great disappointment
I watched the tv scree and saw what I couldn’t believe
Two planes flew into the towers and I wondered which world powers were responsible for this
I screamed in horror as I saw people jumping from those towers
I thought World War III is in the making
My heart, the situation was taking
I stayed up for weeks
Missing school, people thought I was a fool
I wanted to be ready for anything
Days of school I missed
My teachers, they were pissed
I didn’t care but instead ignored the world and everything that mattered
I was extremely depressed
As I headed back to my life, my feelings, they were regressed
How that day changed the way our lives
God Bless those who survived
Those who are died are in Heaven or Hell
But they died so that we can tell
Tell about that day and the Hell they had to pay
It brought religion and peoples together
People began to heal and fell much better
But, is it any better?
