Prove Them Wrong Growing Pains
Do you remember the days
When we were young
And we'd play outside
With our plastic guns
And we'd shoot each other
And then play dead
I miss that feeling now.
Responsibilities these days
Have me at my wits end
And i don't know how much more I can take
I'm running miles through my brain
And as every day goes by I keep on picking up the pace
But I'm standing strong and staying true to myself
Growing up is hard and that doesn't help
But tonight I'll be gone!
I'm getting away from this place
Finding a way to get my mindset clear.
I'm hopping on the next train
And I won't be home 'til this time next year.

I am so sick and tired of living a life
that's so focused around growing up.

I just want to have fun with my friends!
