Progress We Could Have Done This All As Friends
summer ending, nothing now once we pulled away the ground. we floated freely with no sound. we flapped our arms but luck ran out. asking what we're fighting for; cracking bottles/closing doors. wasn't certain, but now i'm sure -- there's no love cause love's no more. love's no more, here breathless where you lay your head; it used to be here in my bed and now i'm thinking that everything we shared then was just a plan (just to see us to the end) and that instead, we could have done this all as friends.
