With the pictures that he finds
Of those perfect people
Living out his life
He wished he had their river
So he could skate their way

The boy who had it all
Though was tall and mighty
He always felt so small
He couldn’t find his river

Were never looking back
Though he tried the hardest
Stepping on no cracks
Still his back went broken most days
Well I guess he should have learned it
Early on in life
Nothing that’s most precious
Is easily in sight
And everything you cling to
Surely breaks away
