Stare at the sun so I can breathe
Shock myself back to reality
Confusion is clouding
My mind depressed by the lapse of time
Looking back I see things clearer
Realize what I should have done as I stare in the mirror
Years pass before my eyes can't see
Memories of those living and deceased filling my thoughts with pride
To the future I must strive
The past is gone, can't change decisions
Life filled with little ambition
Fighting to gain my life back
