it started back in Point Richmond a consorted effort they'd all pitched in for a boat that would never float three months working for what's right they'd sleep in the galley in the night it was all for one and one for all and at four a.m. their day would start all over again and still they'd never call it quits they'll never call it quits never would say die they'll never call it quits bonded by their pride they'll never call it quits or so the story went they'll never call it quits friends since birth it had to work but the boat still sits there in the dirt with an old blue tarp as a makeshift roof freezing it rained all day and all their work went done in vain so they all spilt up and went their separate ways and at four a.m. they left to never be seen again they took the first bus out of Point Richmond they finally called it quits broken in the night they finally called it quits for the rest of their lives they finally called it quits or so the story went they finally called it quits [repeat]
