Obsidian Reign Better Off Dead
Trapped down, spiraled through the past
In time to see that it won't last
Train of thought clouding my desire
To feel the burn without touching the fire
Watch it go (far behind)
Through the past
I'll find a way
To put you in my past
But you don't know what I've been through
You see the pain stare back at you
Just in case you don't seem to mind
I'll be here doing more than fine
Sitting back I retrace my steps
And realize there's nothing left
Thinking about what you once said
Made me feel better off dead
Speak the truth no matter where it lie
I close my eyes to see the world pass me by
Can't explain this feeling deceit
When I see you follow my own retreat
Passed out, drunken with despair
I shatter glass but you don't seem to care
Will this horror escape my peaceful mind
Before I leave these feelings far behind
