The universe won't let me in
Its wretched claws withhold
A barren waste under my skin
No thoughts of congregation to behold
Expelled from thoughtless eyes
I drift amongst circles cold
The oldest mouths are speaking
Damning me to serpents lairs
Riding on weakened steeds
Soul fault, wings clipped
Rebirth gone
Returnless gaze
March, listless, devoid of light
With animal convictions
Unseen in the open hours
Remove every layer of joy
And see my shell transform
Powerless to behold all hopes
Grief is the only command
