No Children Burning Flags
obsession to live behind the walls inside us
the answer no need to know
what makes a sense in making judgement
of the people we don't know
when the differences are
what we choose them to become
we've been so proud to walk alone
turning our face to someone new
now it's my time to say
patriotism burns the truth
burn the fear
that separates us from ourselves
burn ideals burn out! burn out!
instead of sharing our existence
let's start to share our lives
it's time to make the walls fall down
our separation fits
our personality
the one we choose to be
what makes a sense in making judgement
from the people we don't know
we'll let our cancerous minds invade
our souls when everybody bleeds red blood
