As the world was turning, long ago way back in time
Not a star was burning, only darkness filled the sky
Then the land was covered by the sun
Flowers started growing one by one
One by one came the leaves to the trees
One by one came the waves on the seas
Came a man and the wife, life had begun
And they were blessed with little children

Everyone a brother, joining hands in songs of praise
Helping one an other, through the dawning of the age
But soon the bonds of friendship were undone
Fighting for their places in the sun

Many died in the fight and few returned

Let our children walk out in the sun
