Someone keep her from the shadows
Fading out and hurting deep inside

Burning hot but still her fingers seek
Too weak to weep
Too numb to speak
Too tired to sleep
And even though someone could see she'd still be

Something's wrong she just can't hide it
Spinning around and around inside her veins
Slit them open and it's over
Left for others to try to wash the stains
