She reads all the ads in the paper each day
And dreams about how it will be
Taking vacations and buying new clothes
When the hard times are over for me
She sets the table and sings in the kitchen
Believing we'll make it some day
And if that's all it took was believing and love

The good times she dreams of today

Sometimes she gets up alone in the night
When the kids have all fallen asleep
