May I submit for, for your consideration A thought was born from, from desperation? I mean, now all ya gotta do is take a minute to see, The world we're living in's not trouble free. The common decency to do what you can In some small way to help your fellow man To try to make some sort of contribution Not be part of the problem, but part of the solution. The common decency, now is that still in existence? A little bit would go, would go a healthy distance. And head us all into the right direction, Common decency could stand some further inspection. This thought is vague, I know And I know the chances are And I know that there's a chance This thought might not get far. Just give the thought a shot A shot will not lose sight.
