Martiria So Far Away
I wonder what my father would say today,
If he could see me in this weird place.
He that never went a mile away,
He that never left his land nor his boat.
My bones are stiff, my beard is long and gray,
My tired eyes confuse shadows and lights.
Still with iron chains they tied my wrists.
