A couple miles, we're almost there, smack dab in the middle of nowhere,
Well this ol place will always feel like home,
Man this town has really changed, but I swear it feels the same, all up and down these roads we'd roam, I wanna show you, the livin that I've done, just let me show you, where it is that I come from, right here,

Over there is where I played ball, man I felt about ten feet tall, when I came up to bat they'd all back up,
