Outside in the street the children scream
It’s a dead poetry
But you’re not here to judge
And so the day ends, and still the children scream
Just a phase, just the same
Our memories already shot
Sets our world apart
And time could never really tell our connection
But for a second we were named the same
Hold me in, challenge me
Eye the same eye for too long
Than you know what we were running from
With nothing up our sleeves
One last time for the sake of melancholy
I held and wore you, shook and froze you
So frail inside
