Money don’t mean too much to me
Just as long as I can be happy
But it is said
That money is a kind of freedom
For money you can buy what ever you want
And if stupid little things does really count
Then it’s right, then money is a kind of freedom
But that’s not the kind of freedom I am looking for
No, that’s is not the kind of freedom I want at all
I am free like a bird

When I’m not afraid to try
I am free like a bird
When I am in love
Then I’m free like a bird

Life quality means a lot to me
And now as I am poor as a man can be
Then it’s right then money is just a kind of prison
I’m not interested to buy my happiness
I tell you and I mean it
I couldn’t care less
I say, money can’t buy my freedom
