Lips God Was A Dog
God took another photograph of my face and laughed he said:
"Look at what you've done.
To all the people joining you, on their rides right through,
A life made by my son."
"And did you ever take the time to love yourself and see all of life's beauty?
Life's reality?"
Well I've discovered all but...
As I stumbled across this heaven place, I only found solace,
I felt somewhere out of place.
I saw only little butterflies, stuck between the lines,
Of emotions on my face.
"And did you ever take the time to love yourself and see all of life's beauty?
Life's reality?"
Well I've discovered all but...
Well I felt as if I understood, lacing up my hood,
I fell, I thought I should retreat.
To everybody listening, this is my Christening.
I've stumbled out of me.
