Hear a tap on my window pane
I know that sound
As I look to the sky see my tears are falling down
It's cold in my heart all my emotions turn grey
A picture of you and me washing, washing away
If you're here than why do I feel alone
Now the cracks are starting to show
I walk outside and everything's in sepia tone

Trying to find a little clarity before the darkness swallows me

Gotta lose the shadow over me
So finally I can see

Now the heat on my skin's not the red I once knew
And the sound of your voice doesn't do what it use to do
With a masterpiece so unique
How could the paint just up and leave
So unfair to leave the canvas bare
That's not how it's suppose to be
