So, the waves are high and they're crashing to shore
They could easily take you with them to the deep
Though you are sedentary you are flying through space
You're so tempted to give yourself for them to keep
But there's a tiny disturbing distraction
Slightly waking you up, glancing at someone
It seems like a person yelling through glass
And yes' there's a sound now, appears like the sun
This state of eternal sleep, of agony consumers you
The burden of life, of breath, feels heavier than stones do
And so, when a sound so frail, so pure, so strong then comes through
Your sleep is moved by the tiniest splash because it is true

But the sound is too weak and the sun too bright

Despite being numb and deaf, the ropes will always hang there

Hard to tell if someone was here or not through this constant nightmare
