After the earthquake in Haiti, I saw
People were moved in front of the images on TV
Many helped quickly, but there's still much work to do
Nobody knows what they are doing, nobody knows where did the money went
I fear that people might forget, that people live in camps
What's the plan for reconstruction, I haven't heard of it!
After all this time piles of rubble still lay in the streets

Children today are still living in the streets
And many girls get raped, I could not believe
Despite all the aid and United Nations troops
That nothing seems to be moving in the right direction
