Moods Inspiring Clouds Lyrics

Knight Area Moods Inspiring Clouds

Reflecting rays from a sunlit stream
Passing strangers as in a dream
Butterfly thoughts like a fingerprint
Nature's thoughts carried on the wind

As the clouds hunt the sky
And the night begins to weep
They never wonder why
And lay their heads to sleep

But all this time I tried to restrain
Thought I had to fight to avoid the pain
All I had to do was wait for things to pass
Bend instead of fight like the wind curves the grass

Dew-drops shine through fragile green
Fragrant moss, sounds unseen
Windswept dreams, sunlight warms
Morning waits with open arms

When the clouds leave the sky
And the light returns again
They never wonder why
How the sun could chase the rain

But all this time I tried to restrain
Thought I had to fight to avoid the pain
All I had to do was wait for things to pass
Bend instead of fight like the wind curves the grass

As the sun again lights up my day
I know these feelings aren't here to stay
The night will come again cold and dark
Memories will pull me through like a joyful spark
