Can't blame the street, can't blame the heat, for these blisters on my feet. I'd like to say that this city was to blame.
On summer nights streets are on fire. Trying to hide plain in sight. Kids become kings in midst of dreams. Writing the songs the world sings.
I still dream of all these things. Forever nights the real world out of our sights. I don't think ever again I will have of good as friends. Where we have been, what we have done under the heat of a Florida sun.
