She's guilty of deceiving me
She said she was in love with me
Worse, still, how long it took to see
How cruel love can be
She twisted my words though I gave her love
In the face of her lies
She's the devil in a fancy dress
She wears her passion in a thin disguise
And now that we have parted
And gone our separate ways
We can look back on all those wasted days
For there's a lesson inside our story
It haunts my memory
It taught me how hard the learning can be
