Act Of Despair Lyrics

Kayak Act Of Despair

Confusing the past with the future
inspired by some magical force
misusing the words of a stranger
pretending they're yours
The Monk

in search of a different treasure
misguided by places and time
by riddles that ne one can answer
not knowing they're mine

with a secret that I couldn't share
and an army that's no longer there

thes writings in code
all the poems I wrote
were simple an act of despair (2X)

these book is a trap of ilussions
meant to mislead and reveal
weaving a web of delusion
round a truth so unreal

set in an alternate order
four thousand verses in rhyme
will take you from border to border
on a journey divine

with a sercret that I couldn't share
and a world that would no longer care

the task I fulfilled
obeying God's will
was simply an act of despair (2x)

The work I created will show him the way
the traps that I laid won't lead him astray
I'll rest assured when the deed is done
and the mystery's solved
yes the mystery's solved by the chosen one

with a secret that I couldn't share
and a world that would no longer care

the task I fullfilled
obeying God's will
was simply an act of despair (2x)
