Oh how the angels cry… when lives go by in a tired blur…
But that wasn't me that year…
I'd wake up in the afternoon… no alarm clock to wake me too soon…
Just… when it's time… it's time… naturally…
When I'd open my eyes… it would be… no surprise…
That I'd be… rested and clear… oh yeah…
This feeling that I held so dear was becoming quite commonplace…
Then I'd give a little giggle and I'd jump out of bed… and join the
Human's race…
Coffee brewing in the pot… hits the bloodstream now that hits the spot…
Caffeine high timed to last all day… then hit the fields where the kitty
Cats do play…
Where the kitty cats do play… and yes the kitty cats do play…
Belly rubbing cats can give you a PHD… in being at peace…
And feeling fancy free… yeah, yeah, yeah…
Oh lord this feels like how it was meant to be…
Such was the groove of the ethereal year… such was the groove of the
Ethereal year…
I was never sick once… and I was never bored...
I was always set up nightly… for that peaceful war…
That feeling that was implanted… that made me search for that “so much
Moreâ€â€¦
Yeah!...
Baptisms come in many forms… some by other's making just after we is
Born…
Some by more magic hands… later on… to clear your windows a bit…
But that's just the starting place… you gotta do the work son!
When moonlight falls upon my skin… that's when the work can be begin…
A drive can me made… a price can be paid… and tracks… they can be
Laid…
To the battleground… Liquid Spider Speed Of Sound… come out to play…
But a man needs to eat… and so I'd take a seat… in my little red
Car…
And I'd deliver newspapers throughout the city… near and far…
And I'd continue the fight… as I'd drive through the night… doing
Mental exercises all along…
Get home just as the sun came up… for bed…
Such was the groove of the ethereal year…
