Just one question in my mind
still lingers on through time
"oh my dear God, why'd you let happen what happened that nigh?t"

take the long way back to your house
on country roads where we found out
an amazing such amazing grace
and a sweet sound

and she said that she wanted to stay
but she cannot it's time to leave
and she said that she wanted to wait
in heaven where she will be happy
"my dear God why have you forsaken me
cause i've cried out to you so loud and i have been praying...
and where is that unfaling; amazing grace to see
and where is that sweet sound you took from me?"
