Insense Meandering
Petty man he fakes an interest in something new
A trickle has begun its search for the oceans
Which it grew
If only there were pride in work that he had done
His feeble mind would not be deterred
By the fact he was wrong
Disinterested man puts his focus where he should
The trickle now would turn into a brook that understood
The beginnings of a trait
But persistence is a whore
Attention is given to the one that will pay her more
Knowledge without a name
Indifference is the game
In which he is a lord
Rivers would run dry and he would not ask why
It is none of his concern because he needed not to learn
"Everybody else" is key
Because there simply could not be a one without a two
But everybody else is clean because the water falls between
The intellectual and the tool
Didn't wash the ever fool
Failing man enjoys his drink, lowering his aim
Where he will twist the truth to fit
That's where I will remember the shame
