In Pieces Perfect Enemy
the sky comes crashing down
over my heart racing through distress
this perfect enemy, my open wounds
an undesired end
through what was meant to be
a struggle so deep inside
learning to respect this pain
watch this struggle
through these pale reflections
I still hold on
a turn around and nod
waking these once shut eyes
a falling fragile threat on myself
