I tried to take my baby out dancin' last night
We found a little spot that I thought that she would like
We walked inside and I said "Let's Dance"
But she turned around and said "sorry daddy not a chance"
Cause that's not Rockabilly, oh no

If the cats don't rock then I just don't care
We turned right around and we headed for the door
We walked on over to the place next door
The band started rockin, I said "whatca' thinka this"
She said "they better start boppin' or I'm gonna get
pissed"
We found a little place where they really like to rock
A swingin' little place by the old truckstop
They ain't got a band but they sure do bop
To the old jukebox at the Rockabilly hop
